Religious brothers and sisters from the Conference of Religious India (CRI) Patna unit marked the Season of Creation on October 2 by gathering at Tarumitra, a Jesuit ecological initiative in Patna, the capital of Bihar in eastern India.
As the Church observes the Season of Creation, it is fitting to remember Fr Robert Athickal SJ, a Jesuit priest who foresaw the urgent need to protect the environment decades before ecological concern became a major global and ecclesial priority.
