In a road accident, six people, including three sisters and one priest, died on the spot when a heavy truck carrying cement rammed into a four-wheeler (Bolero) at Umbang, Sumer, in Ri Bhoi district on February 26.
Sister Paul Vincent, a member of Daughters of St. Anne of Calcutta who was working in a remote parish in the Archdiocese of Calcutta on March 27, 2022, died of a vehicular accident.
