National Migrant Sunday

"We believe in God who loves us, and love is never a noun; it is a verb: dynamic, active. Everyone is loved by God, so everyone is 'beloved' and, hence, loving. We need to share this good news with everyone. That is our mission,” said Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing.

The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines will celebrate the 37th National Migrants' Sunday on September 24, 2023.

Bishop Narciso Abellana of the CBCP Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (ECMI) said that “God’s inclusive love” enjoins people to regard migrants and refugees as “co-builders and co-citizens”.
