Holy Cross Family Ministries holds Khulna Diocesan Youth Day in Bangladesh

Holy Cross Family Ministries Bangladesh leads a special session during the 10th Khulna Diocesan Youth Day at St. Joseph’s Cathedral on June 8, 2025, with 170 youth participants.

On June 8, 2025, Holy Cross Family Ministries Bangladesh held the distinct honor of facilitating a special session during the 10th Khulna Diocesan Youth Day at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral in Khulna.

The event was graced by the presence of 170 enthusiastic youth participants, whose active engagement contributed to a dynamic and spiritually enriching atmosphere.

The session was led by Holy Cross Father Ruben Manuel Gomes, national director of Holy Cross Family Ministries Bangladesh.

In his inspiring and thought-provoking address, Ruben emphasized the indispensable role of youth in the life of the Church and within their families.

He called upon the young people to be instruments of peace and champions of Christian values in both ecclesial and domestic spheres.

A particularly moving segment of the program featured several participants who shared testimonies of miraculous events in their lives, which they attributed to their devotion and consistent prayer of the Holy Rosary. These witness accounts served as powerful affirmations of the Rosary's spiritual efficacy.

Ruben also offered a profound theological reflection on the life and enduring significance of the Blessed Virgin Mary, presenting her as a model of unwavering faith and devotion.

The session was further enriched by interactive action songs and a captivating film presentation on Our Lady of Guadalupe, which deeply resonated with and inspired the attendees.

Emphasizing the metaphysical value of Marian devotion, Ruben urged the youth to embrace the daily recitation of the Rosary as a foundational practice for personal holiness and spiritual maturity.

The session concluded with heartfelt words of appreciation extended to Father Ripon Andrew Sarker, Father Lovelu Sarker, nuns, and the dedicated team of animators and volunteers, whose tireless efforts and collaborative spirit ensured the success of the program.

As a token of gratitude and spiritual encouragement, Ruben presented each participant with a blessed image of the Blessed Mother Mary , bringing to a close a truly memorable and grace-filled encounter.
