India: Indore Diocese Opens 14th Annual Bible Convention
The Diocese of Indore, central India, has inaugurated its 14th annual Bible Convention, a three-day gathering of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal, being held from September 30 to October 2 at St. Paul Higher Secondary School, Indore.
The convention was formally opened on September 30 by Bishop Thomas Mathew of Indore, together with renowned preacher Fr. Yesudas V.C., who will lead the sessions throughout the event along with his team.
Daily programs include Bible reflections, preaching, and the Eucharistic celebration centered on the Word of God.
The Diocese emphasized that the faithful will join in fervent prayer for the well-being of the world, with special intentions for India’s peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth. “We pray that God may grant every citizen happiness, health, and holistic progress,” the organizers said.
The Diocese of Indore has been holding this annual convention for 13 years as part of its mission to strengthen the faith and spiritual life of its members. The 2025 convention continues this tradition, offering the faithful an opportunity to deepen their relationship with the Word of God.
The Bible Convention will conclude on October 2.
