On May 1, the first conference on Mary will take place at Claret School in Quezon City, Philippines.

The theme for the occasion is "You Are Most Blessed Among Women" (Luke 1:42).

The event will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The conference is to promote Marian spirituality in the Philippines, says Father Dennis Tamayo, CMF, executive director of the Claretian Communications Foundation, Inc.

According to him, the theme will highlight Mary's significance and involvement in the lives of Catholics and the Church's mission.

Various speakers will focus on the role of Mary and how she willingly accepted the will of God to be the mother of Christ.

"Our journey with the Blessed Virgin Mary is not over. Through the ages, she has been our devoted companion, leading us closer to God,” says Father Tamayo.

The Claretian Missionaries, also known as the Congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, are organizing the program.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
