The Episcopal Commission on the Biblical Apostolate (ECBA) of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) will hold the 24th bi-annual national Biblical workshop in February.

This is the first time that ECBA is going to have it online on February 11 and 18-20.

The theme is “Sowing the seed in time of pandemic, in the spirit of Synodality.”

The goals for the workshop are to develop technical and interpersonal skills for online platforms in sowing the Word of God in CBCA’s Biblical programs and to experience the transformative power of the Word of God in the present socio-cultural and political situation.

Participants from the Philippines are needed to register through the Diocesan Biblical Apostolate director or coordinator.

CBCP President Bishop Pablo Virgilio David of Kaloocan and Father Edwin Gariguez, an environmentalist and the director of Social Action, Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan, Philippines are the resource persons for the Biblical workshop.

ECBA is a pastoral commission of the CBCP. The commission encourages Catholics to deepen their faith and life through the Word of God.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
