Fr. Soquiño’s challenge to devotees of the Santo Nino was a reaction to the message of Pope Francis on World Day of Peace on the theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Peace”.
Ms. Achtman said euthanasia is an urgent and pressing moral crisis. She encouraged societies and countries that have not legalized euthanasia “not to stray down this path” because once it becomes legal, euthanasia will not remain limited.
Archbishop Palma said he hopes that the momentum of the work be sustained, for the “ecclesiastical watershed” to “continue overflowing as pathways to the hearts of all the faithful.”
Bishop Maralit said that since social media content is governed by algorithyms and determines how content is filtered and recommended to users, a social media cohort with shared Catholic missionary orientation can amplify the Gospel message.
