Apostolic Vicar of Quetta

St. Eugene’s Parish in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan Province in southwestern Pakistan, celebrated the feast of St. Eugene de Mazenod and inaugurated the parish observance of the Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi on May 29.

Twenty-five years after its establishment, the Apostolic Vicariate of Quetta in southwestern Pakistan has ordained its first local diocesan priest.

In a solemn Mass held at St. Mary’s Church in Jaffarabad, Balochistan province, Pakistan, on March 24, Bishop Sebastian Francis Shaw was formally installed as the Apostolic Vicar of Quetta.
