Papal nuncio Archbishop Charles Brown has called on the Catholic Church in the Philippines to place young people at the center of its evangelizing mission, saying the future of the Church depends on passing on the Gospel to the next generation.
Capiz Archbishop Victor Bendico has issued a heartfelt call to action, urging Catholics across the Philippines to join the annual Red Wednesday campaign on November 27.
Fr. Labiao also hopes that the project will not only spread the purpose of the encyclical Laudato Si' of His Holiness Francis but also generate employment in the communities and further prevent the worsening climate crisis.
