The first Myanmar private Catholic University held the fourth graduation ceremony in Yangon, Myanmar, on December 10, at Summit Park View Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar. Speaking on the occasion Bishop Alexander Pyone Cho said, “When educating a person, we need to help him to have critical thinking – to see the world well - not only in the book but to be in life.”

Joseph Win Hlaing Oo walked a hard journey to establish the so-called first private Catholic university, Joseph Education University, for the welfare of the lay Catholics and the country’s development to offer accessible, reliable, and global higher education in Myanmar.
