Catholic parishes across West Malaysia and the Borneo states of Sabah and Sarawak observed Holy Thursday with Maundy Thursday services conducted in multiple languages, including English, Bahasa Malaysia, and local vernaculars such as Iban and Bidayuh.
A Malaysian mother's steadfast faith in God guided her son to His purpose, which later enabled him to be a priest in the Society of Jesus' Singapore-Malaysia region.
"Christian mission is much more than just going there, going anywhere to do good. We are entrusted with a mission, a message that we must proclaim and make known to all, and that is the good news of Jesus Christ," says Ms. MaryClaire Fan.
