Amid escalating violence in the Middle East, Pope Leo XIV delivered a heartfelt appeal for peace during his Angelus message on Sunday, calling on global leaders to end the “tragedy of war” and urging the world not to ignore the deepening humanitarian crisis in Iran, Israel, and especially Gaza.

In his Easter Sunday message, read by Cardinal Angelo Comastri at Saint Peter’s Square, Pope Francis called on the faithful to seek the living Christ beyond the tomb and to carry the message of hope and newness into every corner of daily life.
