Young Catholic Students Movement

The Young Catholic Students (YCS) and Young Students Movement (YSM) have experienced a significant revival in the Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore since their renewal on July 1, 2024, highlighted by a major milestone on February 19, 2025, when the 40th school officially launched the movement in Madharpakkam, India.

The 21st Youth Sunday was celebrated throughout Tamil Nadu during August with the Pope's message, “Those who trust in the Lord will run and not grow weary” (Isaiah 40:31), as its guiding motto.
