World Youth Day Seoul 2027 is being prepared not only as a global gathering of young Catholics but also as an opportunity for the Korean Church to become more open, missionary and attentive to young people.
A total of 45 pilgrims from eight Asian nations concluded a week-long spiritual journey through South Korea, tracing the history of the Korean Church and its martyrs.
A seminar on the Catholic Church's role in promoting reconciliation between North and South Korea was held on July 27 at the Church of Repentance and Reconciliation in Uijeongbu, a city in Gyeonggi Province, north of Seoul.
