The Diocese of Tura in the northeastern Indian state of Meghalaya marked the second death anniversary of Bishop George Mamalassery with a thanksgiving Mass and memorial program at St. Luke Church in Walbakgre on July 4.
The 2025 Northeast India Regional Pastoral Conference was from 1–4 September in Guwahati, in the State of Assam, drawing over 100 priests, religious, and lay participants, including archbishops, bishops, and bishops emeriti from across the region.
