Pope Leo XIV has appointed Archbishop Filippo Iannone, O. Carm., as the new Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops, entrusting him with one of the most significant responsibilities in the Roman Curia: assisting the Pope in the appointment of bishops across the world.
