Nostra Aetate at 60

The global Society of the Divine Word (SVD) Communication Forum organized an international webinar titled “Bridge of Peace: Communication and Interreligious Faith” to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate.

Six decades after the Second Vatican Council opened a new chapter in relations between the Catholic Church and non-Christian religions, representatives of faiths from across the globe gathered in the Paul VI Hall to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate, the landmark declaration on interreligious dialogue.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate (“In Our Time”), a short but transformative document that reshaped the Catholic Church’s approach to non-Christian religions.
