Cardinal Orlando B. Quevedo, the first cardinal from Mindanao in the southern Philippines, received an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from San Beda University on July 30 in recognition of his decades of pastoral leadership, peacebuilding, and commitment to interfaith dialogue.
