For the first time in Church history, the Catholic Church will celebrate a Jubilee event dedicated specifically to Catholic influencers and digital missionaries. The landmark gathering will take place in Rome on July 28–29, 2025, coinciding with the opening of the Youth Jubilee during the Holy Year.

Organized by the Dicastery for Communication, the Jubilee will bring together nearly 1,000 digital missionaries from around the world, particularly from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain.

These evangelizers, active on social media, blogs, video platforms, and apps, have been recognized for proclaiming the Gospel in what the Church now affirms as the “digital continent.”

This Jubilee event is a direct response to Pope Francis’ call during the Synod on Synodality (2021–2024) to bring the Good News to the digital world.

The Holy Father emphasized that no one should be excluded from the synodal journey, including those in the digital space.

Even those who cannot travel to Rome can participate through virtual events by registering at www.digitalismissio.org. The two main sessions will be livestreamed on the YouTube channel La Iglesia Te Escucha (“The Church Listens to You”).

The Jubilee for Catholic Influencers will unfold in three meaningful phases: Spiritual Pilgrimage: Participants will journey through the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, a powerful symbol of grace, renewal, and openness to God’s mercy, a hallmark of every Holy Year.

Formation: A series of keynote talks, workshops, and personal testimonies will take place at the Auditorium Conciliazione, designed to provide pastoral tools and inspiration for effective digital evangelization.

Celebration: The program will culminate in a vibrant cultural festival in Piazza Risorgimento, featuring music, art, and creative expressions of faith, highlighting the joy and unity of the digital missionary community.

Echoing Pope Francis’ call to be “Good Samaritans in the digital world,” the Jubilee promotes a communication style rooted in hope, compassion, and listening. It aligns with the Pope’s repeated appeal for digital spaces to become places of encounter, not division, a message also reinforced by Pope Leo XIV in his first address to media professionals.

The event builds on momentum from the first global meeting of digital missionaries during World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon, which sparked the formation of an international missionary network now being strengthened through this Jubilee.

As part of the Jubilee preparations, the official hymn titled “Todos” (Everyone) has been released. Created through international collaboration among Catholic artists, the hymn reflects the synodal and inclusive vision of the Church. The title echoes Pope Francis' words from WYD Lisbon: “In the Church, there is room for everyone, everyone, everyone!”

A spiritual guide, downloadable resources, and promotional materials are available on the Jubilee’s official website to support the global missionary effort both in Rome and in digital spaces.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
