Laudato Si’ Animators Formation Program 2026 Opens Global Registration

The Laudato Si’ Movement has opened worldwide registration for its 2026 Laudato Si’ Animators Formation Program.

The Laudato Si’ Movement has opened worldwide registration for its 2026 Laudato Si’ Animators Formation Program, inviting people of faith to deepen ecological conversion and take concrete action in caring for our common home.

The free online program is rooted in the teachings of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical, and promotes integral ecology by linking environmental protection with social justice and faith-based responsibility.

The Laudato Si’ Animators Formation Program aims to deepen understanding of integral ecology and Catholic Social Teaching, inspire personal ecological conversion and sustainable lifestyle changes, and empower grassroots leaders to organize and lead concrete creation-care initiatives in their communities.

Participants will be guided by experienced mentors and will become part of a global network committed to caring for our common home.

Program Schedule and Modules

The 2026 formation program includes four weekly online sessions, held at 9:00 AM EST (live participation is encouraged; recordings will be available):

  • April 15, 2026 – What Is Happening to Our Beautiful Home?

  • April 22, 2026 – What Does Our Faith Say? (Laudato Si’ and Catholic Social Teaching)

  • April 29, 2026 – Commitment to Personal Ecological Conversion

  • May 6, 2026 – Action in the Light of Our Faith

During Laudato Si’ Week, participants will implement a “Seed Project,” designing and carrying out a small but concrete ecological action within their local communities, accompanied by mentors.

The program will conclude with a Graduation Ceremony and Commissioning on June 17, 2026.

Learning Platform and Certification

The training will be hosted on the Thinkific Learning Platform, where participants can access training videos and readings, session recordings, assignments and learning materials, and discussion forums for interaction and reflection.

Modules will be released weekly and must be completed sequentially.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon completing all training modules, submitting a Seed Project report, and signing the Laudato Si’ Movement Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.

A Global Call to Care for Our Common Home

Graduates will officially become Laudato Si’ Animators, gaining access to ongoing formation, shared resources, and a worldwide community of ecological leaders.

Organizers encourage participants to invite others with the message: “I’m taking action to care for our common home. Join me in becoming a Laudato Si’ Animator!”
