Representatives of the 12 recruiting organizations introduced their companies, explained available positions and eligibility requirements, and outlined potential career paths. Participants were then able to interact directly with recruiters and take part in interviews.
The participating organizations included SBI Life Insurance, The Employment Providers, Reliance Jio, New Checks Pvt. Ltd., Summer Sands Beach Resort, Maxx Fashion, Mynt Careers Pvt. Ltd., Flywayy Guwahati, Iprocess–ICICI, Yuva Shakti, FMC Global and QuessCorp Guwahati.
Organizers said the initiative sought to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers while expanding access to employment opportunities for young people.
The fair also provided participants with practical exposure to recruitment processes and opportunities to learn about different employment sectors. Organizers highlighted the importance of employability, career guidance and direct engagement with potential employers in helping young people enter the workforce and pursue sustainable livelihoods.
The event brought together Salesian organizations, government employment services, civil-society groups, technical institutions and private-sector recruiters, creating a common platform where young people could access employment information and opportunities.
