Laudato Si Film Making Contest

Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of Laudato Si’
International Short Film-Making Competition
(A joint initiative of Radio Veritas Asia & FABC–Office of Social Communications)
About the Competition
The Laudato Si: Care for Creation Filmmaking Contest invites filmmakers, students, social communications ministries, and environmental advocates across Asia to create short, inspiring films that bring to life the message of Pope Francis encyclical titled Laudato Si’ on the urgent call to care for our common home.
Asia, with its diverse cultures, stunning natural landscapes, and abundant biodiversity, is also at the frontline of ecological crises such as deforestation, pollution, climate change, and the displacement of communities due to natural disasters. This contest aims to amplify voices and stories that highlight both the beauty of creation and the pressing environmental challenges we face.
The theme, “Laudato Si: Care for Creation,” calls for ecological conversion and urges individuals and communities to take meaningful, transformative action toward environmental stewardship.
