The Diocese of Indore, in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, officially inaugurated its Platinum Jubilee year on May 17, marking 75 years since the diocese was established in central India in 1952.
3,000 Cambodian Catholics, bishops, and Monsignors from three dioceses, including 60 priests, participated in the celebration honoring victims of the civil war who sacrificed their lives for the faith.
"Despite the odds, we emerged stronger from it due to the contributions of many Singaporeans who worked bravely and tirelessly to adapt to every new challenge brought about by the pandemic," President Halimah Yacob.
A priest from the Archdiocese of Manila has made a study on the nominal and lapsed Catholics in the Philippines and its results will be presented on July 15.
