Our Lady of Bethlehem Church in Chandor organized a Sacred Music Concert to honor its parishioner, the new Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, His Excellency Simião Purificação Fernandes.

Fr. Falcão added, “Pilgrims who wish to visit Goa on the occasion of the Exposition can make their own arrangements for Board and Lodge.”

The Diocesan Centre for Biblical Apostolate (DCBA) of the Indian Archdiocese of Goa and Daman organized Bible courses in five parishes and a religious monastery for the Pastoral Year 2023-2024

The event focused on the theme 'Care for Creation, Human Obligation.'

The ten scholastics receive a precious gift from the diaconate, whereby they accept the responsibility to continue the mission of humble, joyful, selfless, and caring service made present in the world by Jesus.

Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrão of Goa-Daman urged government authorities to avoid “any undue or offensive interventions, even by legitimate stakeholders in and around these monuments that can have grave consequences and attract the derecognition of the World Heritage status, which would be a tremendous and severe loss to Goa.”
