Bishop Noel Saw Naw Aye

Myanmar Cardinal and Auxiliary Bishop Noel Saw Naw Aye of Yangon Archdiocese celebrate their Anniversaries at the Yangon Archbishop’s House on February 14.

Sister Maria Grace Kyaw Myar and Sister Maria Josephine Cherry Than Htike both from Loikaw Diocese, Myanmar, professed in the Charity of St. Vincent de Paul of Suwon at St. Peter and St. Paul in Nant Thar Gone Quarter in Insein Township of Yangon Archdiocese on February 6.

More than 200 leaders from different Christian denominations participated in the closing ceremony of the week of Christian Unity at Anglican Holy Trinity Cathedral in Yangon, Myanmar, on January 25.

“The first word to say to the people is PEACE BE WITH YOU. The disciples are to bring Peace, Healing, and Happiness to the people,” said Bishop Noel Saw Naw Aye after ordaining eight new deacons at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Yangon, Myanmar, on December 1.

Myanmar Catholics in Nyaung Lan Gone village were overjoyed with the visit of Bishop Noel Saw Naw Aye, the Auxiliary Bishop of Yangon on February 20. It was a historical day for the Catholics of the sub-parish to see a bishop for the first time after about a hundred years.

Yangon Archdiocese celebrated the seventh anniversary of the installation of Cardinal Charles Bo on February 14.
