Bishop Richard Ng of Miri called Catholics to strengthen unity, collaborate in mission and trust in God’s providence as the Diocese of Miri celebrated its 50th anniversary with a Thanksgiving Mass attended by approximately 6,000 people in Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo.

Bishop Richard Ng of Miri, Malaysia, warned against excessive reliance on technology and artificial intelligence, saying that only Christ can offer salvation, during a seminar and Mass marking the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi on October 3.
