Golden Jubilee

The Christian Organization for Relief and Rehabilitation (CORR)-The Jute Works (CJW), a church-based handicraft cooperative in Bangladesh, opened its golden jubilee of existence on July 26.

The Catholic Nurses’ Guild of Singapore (CNG) will celebrate its golden jubilee and Nurses' Day Mass on July 23.

"Through his example of life, there are many vocations for the religious life (nuns and priests). Father Fernandez, just like a drop of honey, has attracted so many young people, boys and girls, to embrace the religious or priestly life," said Father Anacleto.

Monsignor Joseph Soosay is the first priest from the Mawlamyine diocese in Myanmar to receive the ‘Monsignor’ title and the ceremony was held together with his golden jubilee of priestly ordination in Mawlamyine Diocesan Center, Myanmar, on March 1.
