A five-year-old boy found alone at a railway station in Kerala, southern India, 28 years ago has been ordained a Catholic priest, completing a journey from childhood vulnerability to a vocation of service.
Since its inception in 2008, Jesus Youth Bangladesh (JY) has been a vibrant Catholic lay movement committed to nurturing young people in faith and service.
The Jesus Youth movement celebrated 30 years of its presence in the Telugu Region with Veduka, held on September 13–14 at St. Francis Girls High School, Secunderabad, in the Archdiocese of Hyderabad.
“This life begins with a personal, loving encounter with Jesus and continues as they grow in a joyful spirituality within a community of like-minded friends,” said Cardinal D’Rozario.
