The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has called on dioceses, parishes, religious communities, and Catholic institutions nationwide to offer prayers and financial assistance for communities devastated by the powerful earthquake that struck Sarangani province and other parts of Mindanao, southern Philippines.
