The long-awaited New Missal in Konkani (Romi Misa-Gronth) was officially released by Archbishop Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão of of Goa and Daman, western Indis, during the solemn feast Mass of St Francis Xavier at Old Goa on December 3.
Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão, President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI), highlighted the importance of serving the Church with joy and dedication during an address to the staff of various CCBI Secretariats in Bangalore.
"Jesus, as a discerning shepherd, consistently acted following the will of His Father, exemplifying humility in his ministry. He guides us, as priests, to embrace humility," Cardinal Ferrão the Prelate.
“Venerable Agnelo, took Jesus as his model and strengthened his relationship with him through prayer and served the poor and the needy, thus becoming an inspiration in our journey of faith,” said Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão
"Let us draw inspiration from Roman culture and our faith, allowing it to empower and motivate our personal and spiritual growth,” said Cardinal Filipe Neri.
