Manila Archdiocese to Hold 9th Family and Life Conference in October

In collaboration with various church-based organizations, the Commission on Family and Life of the Archdiocese of Manila will hold the 9th Family and Life Conference on October 25.
On July 20, the organizers launched the official logo of Family and Life Conference 2025, highlighting the powerful theme, “Anchored in Hope: A Catholic Vision from Rerum Novarum to the Digital Age.”
“Our new logo symbolizes our mission to remain anchored in faith, truth, and hope amid the challenges of modern life,”said an official from the Commission on Family and Life of the Archdiocese of Manila.
“This year’s conference invites families and faith leaders. It advocates a journey through the rich heritage of Catholic social teaching, rooted in Rerum Novarum, and explores its enduring relevance in today’s fast-paced digital world,” he added.
Pope Leo XIII published the encyclical Rerum Novarum (On the Rights and Duties of Capital and Labor) on May 15, 1891.
Addressed to all Catholic bishops, archbishops, primates, and patriarchs, the encyclical discussed the condition of the working class and laid the foundation for modern Catholic social teaching.
Co-organizers of the 9th Family and Life Conference include Couples for Christ, the Pregnancy Support Services of Asia, and the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines–Episcopal Commission on Family and Life, representing the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, and the Apostolic Vicariates of Taytay and Puerto Princesa in Palawan.
Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.” Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
