Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli visits Indore

Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli, the Apostolic Nuncio to India and Nepal visited Prerana Sadan, the communication, and Pastoral Centre of Indore diocese on March 24.

The Apostolic Nuncio was welcome at the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport, Indore at 3.45 pm by Most Rev. Chacko Thottumarickal SVD, the Bishop of Indore, Rev. Fr. Peter Kharadi, the Apostoli Administrator of Jhabua, Fr. Babu Joseph SVD, the Secretary for the office of the Social Communication of Madhya Pradesh and Fr. Anthony Swamy SVD, Coordinator of RVA Hindi.

The Nuncio was escorted from airport to Prerana Sadan, by the representatives of the Church and the convoy of representatives of the the Home Ministry of Madhya Pradesh.

On his arrival at the center, he was greeted with the floral welcome by all the religious, priests of the diocese and some invited guests at the pastoral Centre. He addressed all the priests and sisters of the diocese. Archbishop Girelli inaugurated and blessed the newly built adoration chapel which will be used for the 24X7 adoration that will be live telecasted.

From Indore, the Nuncio proceeded to Jhabua for the blessing and inauguration of the Cathedral.
