Indian Jesuit gets education award

Father John Felix Raj, vice-chancellor of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata (SXUK) received the “ABP Ananda Shiksha Ratna” (joyful education jewel) award 2022 given by India's leading Hindi News Channel, ABP News on June 10.
 
The event took place at Swabhumi, Kolkata, West Bengal, eastern India.
 
Father Felix is a Jesuit educationist, economist, and philanthropist.
 
In December 2019, Father Felix Raj also received the Hall of Fame award of Australia for his outstanding contribution and lifetime achievements in the field of education and management. 
 
In the past, he has got several awards for his contribution to education.
 
The Archdiocese of Calcutta congratulated him and said, “Proud moment for Xaverian! Grateful to Rev. Father John Felix Raj, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, for his perennial support and guidance in the field of academics.”
