The cross used for him is an x-shaped one, commonly known as the decussate cross. Nowadays, Christians venerate it using the name Saint Andrew’s Cross.
"As we look back today on our 100 years of presence in the Philippines, we honestly confess that this has not been possible without all of you," said Maria Magdalena Krusein, SSpSAP.
The bishop said this project is a great way to express gratitude and tell inspiring stories of the so-called “Next Door Saints” who left an incredible legacy to the Church.
