Salesians in Myanmar distribute aid to poor families

The Salesians of Don Bosco congregation in Myanmar distributed aid to poor families in Hsipaw in the northern Shan state of Myamar on July 25.

“As we thank God for everything we receive, we also recognize God's goodness and blessings, which are not just for us,” said Father Thi Ko Shin, SDB.

“We give because we have received,” said the priest who joined in the distribution of relief goods to at least 20 families in the village.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
