Archbishop John Rodrigues

The Western Region Migrant Commission of India convened a two-day meeting in Mumbai on Sept. 18–19, bringing together 20 members under the leadership of Bishop Bernard Lancy Pinto of Aurangabad, Chairman of the Commission, and Fr. Glasten Gonsalves, Regional Secretary.

Saints Peter and Paul are venerated as the patrons of the Diocese and City of Rome. Every year on their feast day, June 29, the pope marks the occasion by blessing the palliums of newly appointed metropolitan archbishops from around the world.
