Pilgrimage of Hope

A wave of spiritual fervor swept through the Chattogram Archdiocese as hundreds of Christian faithful’s gathered to welcome the World Youth Cross a humble wooden cross that has become a global symbol of faith, unity, and God’s enduring love for humanity Which arrived in the archdiocese on April 6.

A group of pilgrims from Kerala, fondly known as "God’s Own Country," made a faith-filled journey to Kandhamal, Odisha—revered as the land of Christian martyrs—to honour the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for Christ on April 9.

From February 28 to March 2, 2025, 300 young people from Phnom Penh Vicariate participated in the Youth Pilgrimage of Hope at Dak Dam and Busra Parish in Mondol Kiri, home to the Indigenous Bunong people, located 500 km from Cambodia’s capital.
