India: Archdiocese of Hyderabad celebrates 58th World Communication Day
On Sunday, May 12, the Catholic Church in Telangana observed the 58th World Communication Day in a Eucharistic celebration at Karunagiri Shrine and Our Lady of Fatima Church in Suraram, within the Archdiocese of Hyderabad, India.
Amruthavani Communications Centre, RVA Telugu Service, and St. Paul Communication Media Centre jointly organized a program themed "Artificial Intelligence and the Wisdom of the Heart: Toward a Fully Human Communication."
The Mass was celebrated by Father Pappula Sudhakar, director of Amruthavani Communications Centre and coordinator of Radio Veritas Asia's Telugu service, Father Yerruva Joji Reddy Parish Priest, and Father Paul Prabhakar Assistant Parish Priest.
About 200 people attended the event.
In his sermon, Father Sudhakar emphasized the importance of using social media in an effective way to spread the Good News amidst the rise of artificial intelligence (AI).
He also conveyed Pope Francis' message, emphasizing the importance of perfect human communication, which integrates both artificial intelligence and the wisdom of the heart.
Father Reddy emphasized that everyone in the Parish should be a good preacher of Christ.The priest expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers.
