His contributions and achievements were pivotal in founding several academic and socio-political groups in the country.

The Pro Deo et Patria Award is the highest award the association gives to deserving individuals who manifest an exemplary attitude of love for God and country and their faithfulness to Catholic teachings as part of their service to God. The awardee must be seen as a model of Christ the Teacher.

The awardee will receive an icon of Christ the Teacher, a bronze plaque, and a cash prize of PHP 100,000.

Witness the live conferment of the Pro Deo et Patria Award at the 2023 CEAP National Convention on October 17–20, 2023, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.

The theme chosen for the convention is "Pilgrims of Hope: Exploring Paths of Synodality."

At the same time, the 2023 CEAP Catholic School Heroes Awardee will be conferred on Dr. Ma. Iris A. Melliza, professor and former president of Holy Cross of Davao College, Inc.

The CEAP, established in 1941, is the principal organization representing Catholic educational institutions in the Philippines at the national level. At present, the organization has a membership of over 1,525 schools and counts over 120 superintendents of Catholic schools among its ranks.

The organization is a voluntary entity, operating via regional educational associations situated in each of the 17 regions within the country.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
