Bangladesh’s Rajshahi diocese holds seminar on Holy Rosary

The Diocese of Rajshahi in Bangladesh organized a “Family Rosary” prayer seminar on October 24 that was participated by about 150 people.

The seminar, which aims to promote the praying of the Holy Rosary, carried the theme “The Family that Prays Together Lives Together.”

The diocese’s Family Rosary Ministry has been organizing various spiritual and motivational seminars in different villages “to enable Christians to live in peace, unity, harmony and love in the family by praying Rosary.”

"The praying of the Rosary is a very common devotional prayer in our Christian family,” said Vicar General Father Paul Gomes. He said that through the Rosary “we offer all our prayers to the Virgin Mary.”

“Mother hears and fulfills all our prayers,” he said, adding that Mary always comes to people’s aid “in times of distress.”

“In the midst of the difficult reality of the present world, let us spend more time with the Virgin Mary and build a family of peace and unity," he said.
