The Catholic Church in Vietnam is preparing to celebrate the beatification of Father Francis Xavier Trương Bửu Diệp, a beloved priest whose life of service, compassion, and sacrifice has inspired generations of Catholics and people of other faiths.
"Despite the odds, we emerged stronger from it due to the contributions of many Singaporeans who worked bravely and tirelessly to adapt to every new challenge brought about by the pandemic," President Halimah Yacob.
A priest from the Archdiocese of Manila has made a study on the nominal and lapsed Catholics in the Philippines and its results will be presented on July 15.
