The Philippines’ Manila Cathedral opened its doors to the employees of the Archdiocese of Manila Curia on June 26, 2025, in celebration of the Jubilee of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) Curia.

The gathering began with the “Walk of Hope,” a symbolic pilgrimage from the Arzobispado de Manila to the Mother Church, led by Msgr. Reginald R. Malicdem, Vicar General and Moderator Curiae.

Upon arrival, the employees were warmly welcomed by Msgr. Rolando R. dela Cruz, Rector of the Manila Cathedral, who led the Jubilee Prayer in front of the 2025 Jubilee Cross. The highlight of the event was the Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Jose F. Cardinal Advincula, Archbishop of Manila.

In his homily, Advincula urged all Curia employees to journey together in faith and mission. He reminded them that, as church workers, their service must go beyond daily tasks and responsibilities—it must become an expression of Christ’s love, especially to those who are isolated and suffering.

“Let us share ourselves in the life of the Church, whatever our gifts or capacities may be. May our work lead more people to participate actively in the life of the Church,” the cardinal said.

He emphasized the synodal path of “communion, participation, and mission,” encouraging the RCAM Curia to embody this vision in both word and deed. The archbishop cited the Curia’s outreach efforts, such as the annual baptisms for children in Baseco, Tondo, and other programs aimed at communities in need.

“Our work is not for an exclusive group,” he stressed. “We are co-workers in Christ’s mission, called to reach out to the faithful, listen to their needs, and help them encounter Jesus more deeply.”

Concurrent sessions were also held for all employees, tackling relevant topics such as workplace dynamics, mental health, and financial literacy—part of the Church’s commitment to holistic formation.

As a gesture of gratitude and recognition for their dedication, Advincula announced that the RCAM Curia will implement salary adjustments and additional benefits, following a thorough study and internal restructuring.

The Jubilee of the RCAM Curia marked a moment of celebration and served as a renewed invitation for its members to continue their mission with greater zeal, compassion, and a heart for service.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
