The Pope will fly for a 12-day visit to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and Singapore in September.

The papal “visit to Indonesia, Singapore, Timor Leste, and Papua New Guinea has now been moved to early September,” reported America, a monthly Catholic magazine published by the Jesuits of the United States.

Bishop Joseph Durero formally assumed his post as the third shepherd of the Diocese of Daru-Kiunga, replacing Bishop Gilles Côté of the Missionaries of the Company of Mary, who retired after serving the diocese for 22 years.
