The Franciscan Tertiary Sisters of Lahore (FTL) elected their new general leadership during the congregation's 23rd General Election Chapter, held from July 5 to 8, 2026, at the Arooj-e-Mariam Renewal Centre in Youhanabad, Lahore, eastern Pakistan.

The Society of the Divide Word (SVD) capitulars has elected Fr. Anselmo Ricardo Ribeiro to the office of the congregation's Superior General at their 19th General Chapter in Nemi.

The election took place on August 6, 2022 during the general chapter of the Society in the western Indian state of Goa.

The Missionary Catechists of the Sacred Heart (MCSH) elected Mother Mary Julie Micosa as its superior general. 

Brother Paul Bednarczyk, CSC, was elected as the first brother to be a Superior General in the Holy Cross Congregation. 

The Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) elected Mother Ma. Rosabella Gallo as its superior general.

Brother Jude Saw Leh Mu (BFX) was elected a new Superior General of the Congregation of the Brothers of St. Francis Xavier.

A Peruvian nun, a former missionary to Pakistan, has been elected as the 12th Superior General of Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM).
