The Mission Congregation of the Servants of the Holy Spirit (SSpS) released a new logo on Pentecost Sunday.

The official logo launch took place during the congregation’s 6th international assembly of provincial and regional leaders in São Paulo, Brazil on June 7.

More than 50 participants from across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia-Pacific graced the event, as well as the sisters from the Brazil North Province.

The new logo replaced the original congregation logo which was in use for nearly a century.

According to a video from the SSpS YouTube channel, the process of commissioning a new logo started in 2014 led by the Congregational Communication Team.

“The journey to this new symbol was both long and complex, involving discernment, prayer, and collaboration… The commission worked diligently, ensuring that the new design would honor the essence of our founding charism while embracing modern visual language,” they said.

SSpS said that the new logo is more than a design, but an embodiment of their mission, spirituality, and commitment to serving the Church and the world “with faith, hope, and love.”

“It represents not just who we are, but who we are becoming. Let this new symbol unite us as we continue our mission with hearts open to the Spirit and hands ready to serve,” they emphasized.

During the international assembly, the logo launch was led by Sr. Elaine Faith Taneo, SSpS Congregational Communications Coordinator.

SSpS’s General Councilor Sr. Kreti Sanhueza Vidal and Congregational Leader Miriam Altenhofen delivered the welcome address and inspiration message, respectively.

After the presentation, the participants received commemorative items bearing the new congregation logo, including a customized bag, pen, and water flask.

The Mission Congregation of the Servants of the Holy Spirit was founded by St. Arnold Janssen on December 8, 1889, in Stely, Netherlands, alongside the Society of the Divine Word (SVD).

Sr. Helena Stollenwerk and Sr. Hendrina Stenmanns served as his co-founders.

Today, SSpS is present in 48 countries, dedicated to their mission to spread the devotion to the Holy Spirit.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
