The 12th Pastoral Assembly of the Ecclesiastical Region of Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, began on July 1 with a renewed call to care for migrant workers and their families.
“As president, I intend to focus on justice and peace, because our people are facing many difficulties and challenges, and we, as a Church, should address them to make them safer,” Bishop Samson said.
The bishop said this project is a great way to express gratitude and tell inspiring stories of the so-called “Next Door Saints” who left an incredible legacy to the Church.

“Through the Church, God shows His mercy, and people realize God's mercy and love for them… Let us know the Church. Let us love the Church. Let us serve the Church as a responsible steward with deep faith and great joy,” Bishop Emmanuel K Rozario said.
“Venerable Agnelo, took Jesus as his model and strengthened his relationship with him through prayer and served the poor and the needy, thus becoming an inspiration in our journey of faith,” said Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão
"Peace cannot be achieved solely through official political actions; civil society, researchers, and students must be active participants as well,' said Father Walter Fernandes.
"We pay tribute to them by keeping their children at bay with mainstream education responding to the call of the modern time while keeping their culture and tradition intact," Mayor Marquez said.
"They are the visionaries and pioneers who carry the torch in humanity's nature. They are the innovators who light up new paths that lead to our progress. They are the public servants, the activists, and the humanitarians who gather precious kindling and light the spark for peace and social justice," said Aurelio Luis Montinola III.
